The Royal Winnipeg Rifles
Regimental Senate

The Royal Winnipeg Rifles Regimental Senate was established May 1971, with the purpose of maintaining the ceremonial aspects of the Regiment. The Senate directs and promotes matters of policy relating to the Regiment, in respect to preserving records and monuments and all related matters, maintaining the Regimental museum, all local forms of dress, supporting all other Regimental institutions, and controlling and providing funding for Regimental matters. The Senate also coordinates with other Regimental institutions, and advises the Commanding Officer on several matters, including Regimental tradition, dress and deportment.
